I am trying to post a listing into the advertising section.

Everytime I try to submit the domain in relation to this advertising post, it gives me an error - 'the domain does not appear to be a valid domain'.

I have tried every option -
    www.xxxxxxxxxxxxx.com
    http://xxxxxxxxxxx.com
    xxxxxxxxxxxx.com

and I still get this same annoying error!

Then once when I somehow did eventually got it to work, it tells me the domain is not verified...despite me uploading the file AND DP acknowledging it.

The link they quote above it where the file IS uploaded to!

good god...how on earth do you get this idiotic system to work?? It is frustrating the hell out of me. Then of course there is no DP support (well apart from twitter, which of course they don't reply to any messages anyway).

I'll be cancelling my member subscription, if I can't get this to work

Would really appreciate some advice from anyone who has ever got a domain verified
    Thanks!

This is the wrong forum for this - you need to post in the support section.

IMHO, I would clean up your site design before offering it up on the advertising marketplace. It's pretty jacked up, at least on my end.

that's strange...appears ok to me (no complaints from other visitors). Although 'jacked up' doesn't give me much of a clue what the problem is though. Does it look ok if you refresh page?

yes, I can see what you mean, It shouldn't look like that of course...but does on occasions render like this for some unknown reason. I'll be investigating this. Thanks for your feedback

It's working fine for me now, it looks like you may be using a minify plugin or something that wasn't loading the CSS.

Edit: Check your W3 Total Cache plugin to make sure it's not trying to minify your CSS.

What is the URL where you have the verification file uploaded to?

Sure, although not sure what the point of trying to hide your domain is when you are wanting to put it up for sale. :)

I'm not actually putting up the domain up for sale. It's for advertising purposes (where exact URL is partly obscured, until communication starts). I have sent URL through now. thanks

Domains aren't hidden in the advertising section.

When I test it manually, it seems to be working fine. Can you post a screenshot of the error you are getting right now?
