Hey admins, I have changed my username a couple of times, paying the $25.00 fee each time. I remember when I changed my username to Matthew Sayle, I really wanted it to be Matt Sayle because that's what I go by - but it appeared to be taken at the time. I had already spent the $25.00 before realizing this - so I went ahead and settled with Matthew, and didn't think much of it. Now, every day I am being referred to as Matthew. I know it's not a big deal, but it bugs me. I look forward to logging into Digital Point every day. I really enjoy it here - I just wish I could change that one thing (ok, maybe a few others but I'll pick my battles). I have searched for this Matt Sayle character and can't find him. I know there is a popular celebrity photographer in the UK by the same name - could be an old account from him that's now been deleted. Anyway, can you check on the availability of Matt Sayle? I know it costs $25.00, but maybe you could just chop a few letters off the end on the house, since I paid before with the intent of having Matt Sayle? Thanks in advance
Yea! "Matt" looks cool. Matthew is also cool but no! Who wants a long name? The admins would be of help.
It's taken, if that's what you are asking. You can search for any username in the search box here btw.
Damn, don't tell me it's a dupe account! https://www.digitalpoint.com/members/matt-sayle.780169/ BTW your current photo is much better https://www.seoclerk.com/trade/desi...anner-on-the-homepage-of-my-PR5-website-for-a
Hey! I must have created it way back in the day. Any chance of deleting it and giving me the name? I am a very unorganized person, which I'm working on. I hope you don't think I was trying to get over on anyone
Shoot! I do believe that this thread has landed you into a hole that you can't dig yourself out of. But at least I for one, will call you Matt. (hope it was all worth it)
I doubt I will get banned. There was no intent to deceive anyone, which is why the rule was created in the first place. It's a simple mistake that anyone could have made. With the billions of websites out there, it happens.
I think my thousands of highly valuable posts are buttering up enough. I contribute to dozens of areas on Digital Point and help out hundreds of members. Only a fool would ban someone over a simple mistake.
I'm left wondering if you are human. 3 kids, one is only days old and you have the mental energy to be worried about your username?
