Don't ask us, ask yourself. What are you passionate about? What are your expertise? What do you want to do? Why do you want to blog? What topic can you write something everyday for the next 10 - 20 years. Create your blog following those questions and not the other way around creating a blog from a domain name that's WEIRD. Now start answering those questions and start blogging.
+1 for this. Creating a successful blog takes a tremendous amount of work. Daily posts, lots of research, engaging with your visitors, etc. If you are not interested in the subject matter or an expect in the subject matter, then you will not succeed.
That depends on what you can share, but at the same time something that will catch people's interest. Think of a topic that you are very familiar of, anything like something you like doing. For example, you like to cook you can blog about recipes/dishes or even share a picture of your dish or a step by step procedure on how to make it. It is better to start on a blog that you are very familiar.

I'm with dcristo with this. In addition, try to recall which topics your friends and acquaintances tend to ask you advice for. Those topics are the ones you have affinity with.
The best blog will be one that is about a topic you're knowledgeable about, enjoy and are interested in. Although if you're outsourcing your content writing, it can really be about any niche you want, just make sure there's a market for it before you invest your time/money in it. If you're looking for a generic topic to start out on, try breaking news and current events. There's always something big in the news, and when something happens, people are using the search engines to find more information about it. I've managed a news site and when there's a huge event, you can get a lot of hits if you post an article about it quickly enough.
I know there are many blogs, vlogs, channels etc. for gaming or gaming hardware but even so i think if you have new and intresting feeds for this subject you'll win.
U have to make someting that none others are doing, and be verry good at it, as u know verry well, there are many blogers, and doing soeting that others are alredy doing will not brind u much popularity, only if u stoo it 1000% better that others or so, aniway if u wish to be a blogger, it must be on your own tems and ideas.Good Luck !!!
Basically, unless you go fully automatic s**t if you don't know what you are talking about, no point to start, within days you will lose interest. however bare in mind that some subjects are over used on the web (like things I can read above) you might love technology, millions do and millions have their blog already running with succes or not but if you don't bring anything "new" then don't expect getting much readers. sometime you can also think that a subject is dumb and there is not point to blog about it and that's something wrong as most people would think the same, at the end, it can get a little succes since mot many blogs can be found around. I do have a couple of personnal blogs getting 300k-350k visitors per year, yet subject used is already widely use, though I am using my own "language" which is something people like, yet I am not making much money out of those as I don't really want to monetize those, just enough to pay vps and a couple of premium stuff, yet I am working on small blogs, but instead of trying to find a wide subject, I am looking for a local subject. let's say, if I blog about hotels in my area (500kms wide), obviously bigger site steal the show, so I am blogging about every single town in this area, each blog has less visitors but it converts more 10 blogs with a few pages updated from time to time brings me $3k every year in affiliate commissions for less than $200 investments and a few hours of work.
I agree that many topics are well spread across the web but i also noticed trough time that even if you make the same thing as the others you can stand out if you are some kind a unique idiot ( in a good way ). It's some kind of personality that attracts other people to watch you or listen to you. You are just interesting to them
Looks like it's trending nowadays, the more idiotic you look like, the more you get interest from people, yet again, you have to enjoy being an idiot, I don't, though many people say I am a funny guy, I just keep that for people around me and not for the crowd
