    Yes, this is true. Backlinks are the King of SEO! It doesn't matter how great your content is, if it lacks backlinks then it will likely not rank well - at least not for any extended period of time. This holds true for both Bing and Google.

    I have little doubt abut bing webmaster tools. It has not so much otion like a google webmaster tools. But also i have submitted some website to bing. let's see wht happen. Content writting and submitting sitemap is very important that i think.

    Work on ranking the keywords you want to rank on Bing. It'll help you get traffic to your site.
    However based on my experience and it is quite a fact, Google really gives a big portion on traffic.

    Use Bing Web master tools' submit URL option to index the pages quickly. Personally, I feel there is a delay in indexing new web pages in Bing when compared to Google. Therefore, I use that option to get them indexed quickly.

    submit your sitemap to bing
    track your ranking in bing.com every week.

    i have a website of my friend who has optimized website in a bing and yahoo with keyword "youtube hindi movies" site truemoviesworld blogspot com. i saw his google analytics stats and he is getting about 300 daily unique visitors to his movie site every day.

    Bing is second largest search engine in the world,Getting traffic from Bing is very vital for your Blog.You need to do few thing for generating traffic from Bing.

    1.Make sure your page is indexed by Bing or Not,If not Submit your Page in Bing and it will take time time to indexed your page as compared to google.
    2.Write effective Meta title and Meta description which target your Keywords.
    3.Do not write duplicate contact,your content should be unique and effective from the user point of view so it can grab users.
