Disallow google to index specific tekst with Robot.txt on webpage?

Hello,

I am working on my website (word-press) but i have the the follow problem.

If i type my name in google, google link me to my website because my name is on one specific page. But i dont want my name to be linked to that page.

I know you can dissalow a whole page for google, but i want just that specific name/tekst dont be crawled.

I was wondering if somebody can help me out with this. I installed the plugin Robot.txt and tried many things but google still link the site.

That is not possible, as far as I know.

 

Without some coding it would not be possible. You could replace your name with an image of your name, and include it in your HTML page with <img src="/images/myname.jpg">

 

That is a VERY bad idea content-wise, since it would mean that you can't easily change it, nor have it visible to users without images turned on. Complete accessibility disaster. Also, if it's already indexed by Google, it might take quite a bit of time for it to disappear, also if the page is stored in sites like waybackmachine or archive.org, it's gonna be there forever. If you don't want it there, remove it. And make sure that an archive of the page isn't stored anywhere.

 

It's seem you are talking about author links for this you need to disallow author . use one plugin called Yoast SEO.
