    If you find the answer, please let us know because to my knowledge there never been
    any attempt by any SE to use Alexa's metrics as a factor in any search results ever.

    Alexa top sites rating only has 500 positions. And man, if your website has position from 1 to 100k on Alexa you are lucky guy! I guess what he is actually talking about is pages with rating below 500k. Dunno 4 sure tho.
