YouTube is a social network?

    These days i was searching some cool social networking sites because I love to join new social networks. In Google I search for social networking sites and found two websites which says YouTube is a social networking site? These are the sites:
    http://smallbiztrends.com/2015/07/social-media-sites-statistics.html
    http://vintaytime.com/premium/social-networking-websites/
    But according to the Wikpedia List of social networking websites, YouTube is not in the list?
    Please anyone tell me is that YouTube is a social network or not?

    Does it matter that there is a minor difference in opinion?

    YouTube isn't primarily for sharing thoughts, links, images in the way that facebook or reddit are but there is still social interaction around a specific type of media. I can see how you could decide either way.

    Some people doesnt list youtube as a social media network because its not similar to Facebook or Twitter, but I believe its a network despite those differences.
