    I think the 'e' goes better with products which are not traditionally on the web/Internet, for example email, estore, ecard, etc... eWebsite doesn't, 'website' is already on the web/Internet. That being said it scores over 747 on evosix.com. So my guess is that it contains great keyword, it sounds very good, it is easily pronounceable, and very memorable.
