    Dear All,

I am suffering form the following website issue.

Our clients website has got hacked and when we search for the website on google search box, we get the following message - "This website may be hacked".

And further when I click on this website through google search , it gets redirected to adult porn websites.

When I directly type my clients website url into browser, the website is opening correctly,

I am trying to solve the error by verifying my client's website but it is not getting verified by webmaster tool. So as a result I am stuck in the process of solving the issue of making my server hack-proof.

My clients website is hosted on Godaddy US server and I am thinking of hosting it onto another server. Do you think this will solve this issue?" Do you have any other solutions ? Suggestions ? Please help.

You first need to clean it out, Then add ninjafirewall. I had to do this for a client a few weeks ago. Its still getting completely pounded but the firewall does the trick once its cleaned up.

Check the .htaccess file you may find the redirects in there. You need to implement security measures and clean your wordpress installation

Best is to remove all files and folders except wp-config.php, wp-content/uploads (if you have media files), and theme only if you're sure its clean. Everything you keep you have to check. upload core files from the latest wordpress version. Create a new admin user with new password and delete the old user, also change the database password. you may want to install wordfence or other security plugin.

To remove this message from google Search "This website may be hacked". You need to clean your website as guidence given by@kaas after that add your website to google webmaster if not added and go to Security Issues and then request google to review your website. Within 24-48 hours it will be removed from search engines.

    Hi,
it would better if i can check your site url.

by the by, it is better you can use your previous backup.
i would suggest you if you were a developer you need to change .htaccess file and one question what CMS you are using?

    Thank You

First replace wordpress files and plugin files with latest release and then setup wordfence plugin, and scan the system it will tell you infected files. so fix it and setup sucuri plugin. you site is good now.

If you need any help ,please PM me.

Probably it is because of malware.
