GOOGLE is INTERFERING with American Presidential races. This CANNOT go on without serious consequences. We encourage EVERYONE to thoroughly DUMP Google.

Gmail, Google seek, Google Adsense, Google Adwords, Google Chrome program, Youtube, ALL these can be hindered with ADBLOCK (and others) augmentation added to your program..

Regardless of who you bolster for President, we can't permit huge partnerships to decide our future. Despite the fact that Google is supporting Hillary at this moment, imagine a scenario in which later on they dont like how she is getting along. They could wreak ruin with her and PREVENT her re-race!

Once more, I rehash, this could be the situation with ANY President.

What a lot of stupidity. Take off your tinfoil hat.
Don't be so gullible to fall for that viral video making those claims that has been so easily debunked.

There are more evil players than Google in the US Presidential Elections and I'd be boycotting them before I boycotted Google. All those companies that lobby politicians and make huge donations based on continued support for their business.

    And then there's the NRA

But ultimately your boycott of the Egyptian Google and mine of the NZ Google won't matter a jot.

I dunno... Google is gaining a lot of scary influence, man.

They're street viewing the whole world with cameras. They have satellites that can see whatever.

I think that Google's gaining power, and how are they not like the NSA? They're even providing internet now... They're taking over a lot of areas.

They're also the #1 / only search engine. They can easily control info and search results... It's not against the law for them to do this, cuz it's their company (I think). They have quasi-authority because everyone uses their stuff.

If you think people with power aren't abusing it in some way -- haha. Google definitely has a lot of power, do you really think they're not abusing it?

Last time I looked the NSA didn't:
    • Operate outside America
    • Publish the information it collects to anyone who wants it
    • Limit it's data collection to voluntarily provided information
Google has the potential to be bloody frightening but I'd be more worried about the experimental bots indexing your sites than them right now - after all you know nothing about their motives.

I haven't looked lately but circa 2002 (I think) I had a project to document all the bots that were visiting my sites. They're all supposed to identify themselves in their useragent strings but most didn't. They left behind clues and there were university projects, private corporates and who knows what else. It's fair to assume they're still out there and it's fair to assume that if they are malicious they'll ignore your robots.txt. It's also pointless and exhausting trying to identify them all and understand their motives so don't even try.

#1 rule - don't put it online if you don't want it there forever and aren't prepared to stand and be counted.

Oh that sounds less scary than what I was picturing (creepy pasta).

It just sounds like private companies and universities are indexing websites or gathering data for analytics. Same old same old.

What's really scary is if these bots could index all of facebook.

...And all our family members just post our info and pictures up on fb without our consent :/...
