BEWARE OF SCAMER

    Was scammed by this individual for $200.00. Was hired to design and code a website. Full of excuses.

    His comments
    "If it’s not up to your satisfaction, I can reward a refund. I’m not a scammer or anyone here to do you dirty."

    "I would to. I am awaiting funds from a client that had told me they are paying me today. That is what is taking so long to process you a refund. It won’t come from the same PayPal account. The account I had you send it to is a secondary business partner of mine. I will simply get you to setup a $200 pay now button and I will pay with my credit card."

    "I have your $200 refund. I have to go to the bank on Monday to deposit it and will refund you on Monday. There is no need for all of that over a couple hundred bucks."

    All of this and still no refund!

    People like this harm the hard working, quality and trustful designers and coders.

    Most likely an upfront payment. Not the full amount

    Would just like to clairfy that i was engaged by rlbartlett before i read any of this. I have got nothing but a professional, friendly and determined client in my experience. All payments have been made as expected when expected.

    I have also seen the work the previous designers did, assuming rlbartlett was honest and sent me the true designs. Then as a full time freelancer with 14 years experience, i have to say that the work provided could be done better by a 4 year old in kindergarten with pen and paper. Heck. I could knit a better website then he designed.

    Not to beat a dead horse here, but just came across this thread. I'd like to mention that the refund was processed to him and he wasn't scammed. Would have been nice of him to either have this thread deleted or at least post an update that I didn't scam him. That is all.
