    Hey there guys!

I have read a lot of reviews on icontact, getresponse, and aweber.

Yet, I can not decide, which one of them fits best for a beginner?

Does it even matter if you are a beginner or not?

I would really appreciate your opinions on this matter,
    Thank you.

Just make a research on lets say 5 tools and than pick the one that you like most and develop it. If that fail go to next one until you succeed.

I'd recommend mailchimp as well for beginners. Biggest reason is because they have a free plan where you can get started with Up to 2,000 subscribers and 12,000 emails per month. This gives a beginner time to ramp up and gain momentum. I'm not sure is they are the "best"email marketing too, but I'd definitely say that they are very effective and have very useful features (and continuing to add on new cutting-edge and automation features).

It all comes down to what you will be promoting in your email sequence and auto responders.

MailChimp is fine, but they hate internet marketers. That's why the vast majority of people in IM go for Aweber or GetResponse. With those two you're free to include links to all affiliate platforms without any issue. Start sending make money online offers with a MailChimp account and they'll shut you down quick. Same goes for other platforms like ActiveCampaign, which I use.
Sell your own products, you'll be fine. Send people to a review page where you sell affiliate offers and you'll also be OK. Just don't do it in the mail if you use MailChimp.

I've also used GetResponse and Aweber, and for a newbie doing affiliate marketing I wouldn't hesitate to start off with GetResponse. The interface is the easiest to use in my opinion, and easy to setup. Again, all depends on the kinds of emails you'll be sending.

Aweber and GR can have downsides, i.e. deliverability. You'll probably find that Aweber and GR have a lower inbox rate compared to other platforms and more chance of ending up in the Gmail Spam box.

If you're a beginner with a budget, I guess using those services is the easy way.

The alternative way will be to get
    • Get a VPS (Virtual Private Server)
    • Install PHPList Community Edition
    • Use EXIM, POSTFIX, SMARTERMAIL (as a mail server)
    And do it yourself.

I would start with aweber or getresponse mainly because both are easy to find help with. Then work towards moving to self-hosted and using an SMTP service or Amazon SES.
