    Regarding The Web Directory, it should be mentioned that there is no free listing option. They have two paid options.

    Featured Listing (Standout from the rest) - £34.99
    Regular Permanent (Reviewed within 24 hours) - £9.99

    It started in 2007, so it's 10 years old, and is apparently not penalized by Google. I did a Google search and the website showed up on search results. The website would benefit from a new design. Right now it looks basic. A new look would make it more interesting to people who want to list their business.

    Something I feel the website lack is information about how many listings there are. At the moment there is no such information. If such information would later be added, I would suggest that the site owner also add information about how many listings there are in each business category and sub-category.
