    Hi,

    I am looking for a good wordpress theme for informational site. The site has information targeted around history and historical places. It has section on humor, music and gallery.

    Currently Site has around 45-50 Pages and 350+ blog posts in multiple categories.

    may be later, an additional section can be added to sell digital products online.

    Would be great help if anyone can suggest a good wordpress theme fit for requirement.

    Hello there,

    In fact, For this, you can choose a free option by using Woocommerce for the shop side and any Magazine Wordpress Theme.. there is a plenty good ones... but if you need more features and all in one theme so you will have to buy a premium Theme...

    Before installing a WordPress theme, you will have to keep consider some points which are below:

    * Does the theme is already SEO optimized
    * Will it load faster
    * Is it easy to customize, if required
    * Does it have a professional look
    * How about the social media sharing buttons, it is places ina suitable positions
    * Check the blogs of some top bloggers and find out they are using which theme

    This always better to use a premium theme because the default WordPress themes are not SEO optimized. You will have to make them SEO friendly manually. Also, the themes does not load faster. If you want to customize anything, you will have to do it manually.
