    Hello all,

Just working on early stages of a Classified ads website, and I am undecided between Example -
    freeCarAds.com or Cardealz.com

Which would you pick and why?

Have a great weekend and any suggestion's are greatly appreciated.

    Either one works for me.

The first one is good but if you have intention of monetizing your classified ads down the road, then the word Free would be a liability. Think about the long term purpose of your site. How is it going to generate revenue. Are you eventually going to charge visitors to post ads up. If so, then it won't be free ads anymore.

because if you ever decide to charge for the ads you won't be stuck with a dud domain name.

Not necessarily true. A lot of sites may have free things and additional features for premium members who pay.

    Good point about the upgrade!

He (the op and webmaster) still however would have to add additional features then, which he may or may not want to do.

Being free in the domain can also get more traffic from the search engines because most of the people who search for classified ads to begin with their business or blog go for free ads. Later on you can make it premium or reciprocal type submission after you get more entries on your site.

Really, Not want I am wanting to hear, but really I do want to hear all opinions as I can change it at this early state, but I think Free in the Domain name will be ok, if I don't overdo it in Content etc, what you think? But the free domain name says what it does on the tin...

Could I also get other members of this thread to comment on the idea of having free in the domain name?

Great point, As part the attraction at this stage is a free Classified ads service. Thanks.

When the Website is established, this could be an option.

Great Advise and encouragement, thank's China Girl.

Everybody likes free stuff. The word "free" is like that magic buzzword that attracts attention. If two options are presented to a person, and one has the word "free" in the title and one does not, I would think the one with "free" would be the first to be clicked on.

Cardealz is great one. You can use free word in your title and description and logo etc.
