    Winner - Thank-you for your help.
    As first time users of this site we are very impressed with the results.
    There were many great designs here.
    In the end we decided that too much black in the logo would be great on a business card or letterhead, but on a website would not be so good.
    The winner of this contest entered 23 revisions, 16 on the thread and then 7 more behind the scenes under direction and pressure.

    As a benefit to future buyers, we will post our next favorite designs to close this thread, so our favorites can easily be found again.

    He is very well known to use stock images and some other company's logo on his 'current' design. His design is not original at all!

    It's the guy everyone is warning us about.
    After a lot of PM back and forth, I gave him this pic, and he made the version above.
    Overall I was impressed at his motivation to impress us.
    But I can see what you're saying about stock photos.
    To get this redone, is there anyplace where I can get quotes just to do the job without a contest?
