How can I increase my traffic?

Hi guys,

I'm hoping you'll be able to help me.

Recently my technical department developed a WordPress plugin destined for bloggers and publishers. The plugin increases the mobile ads revenues and also builds a new interface for mobile version of the site (it looks awesome, just like an app)

We tested it on more than 20 sites, all of them showed increases in

• pageviews
• time spend on site
• mobile ad revenues
• page load

The issues is nobody instaled our product yet (expect for those 20 sites). We currently are:

• sending cold emails/follow up e-mail - asking for a call/chat/skype meet
• posting on twitter and facebook

Please, let me know how can I target the bloggers and publishers.

To increase your traffic get registered in all possible social media, be friendly and always talk about you website offer. Focus on lead capture rather than massive traffic. StumbleUpon for example can get you a ton of traffic but it has a poor conversion rate.

 

There are lots of forums where you can also give away your plugin for free as in ask them to give you a feedback after they install it. Random emails, skype chat or anything sent by you to a stranger would obviously be deleted or neglected until and unless you have something interesting to say or something free/extra to offer. Since you said you are not from US or UK, then also try in your local country news websites or forums.

Do a joint venture (JV) with others. Many of the successful affiliates have huge email list that can cross promote your products.

 

Twitter alone can give you all the traffic in the world if you keep growing your following. It will totally blow your mind when and if you begin to capture even a tiny fragment of its potential.
