How can I distribute my ebook?

I am new to clickbank, but I would like to sell my ebook on it. I have two concerns:

1. How can I stop people from publicly posting the download page url (can I email the ebook? and if so, how?)

2. How can I automatically add users' email addresses to my list?

Any help would be appreciated.

For this, you could add code on thank you page that will give the user a random url that will expire.

I would randomly generate a hash (sdf86HDDd8) and then set the time + 24 hours and insert it into your database and then display the url to the purchaser like this:

urlebookurl . com/download/dl.php?hash=sdf86HDDd8&endtime=11122322233

This way they will only have access to it for 24 hours. The hash will have to match the one in the database and current time will have to be greater than the time entered in the database.

When they buy your product in clickbank I think you can see their name and email address. Although you shouldn't add them to your list without asking (or it will not be considered opt-in). You can either offer them a freebie if they join your list or just ask them if they would like to join.

 

ya, you'll need to invest in a script. Most vendors just have a basic html thank-you page... they're just asking for someone to post their link in a forum and everyone gets their product for free.

I wrote some custom stuff for my sites.

 

Dl Guard is a good software to prevent this.

 

clickbank is even offering the instructions in details for free, so don't pay for it (my advice, reputation voting appreciated )

 

What types of products have you guys had success selling on Clickbank? I seem to see an awful lot of crap on their site and I'm just curious what the average Joe has been able to sell with some success.
