Tomorrow I have to do a little shopping and I need to get something for my husband. Now, it is really hard to shop for him. I would like some affordable ideas, I was thinking in cologne and something else but what?..if so, which cologne you all recommend? I am all ears. :D

What's your price range exactly? Perhaps an iPod/Nano.

Escape, Obcession or Eternity by Calvin Klein. Romance, by Ralph Lauren is nice Men's selection too.

Might consider picking up some Lauren, by Ralph Lauren, for yourself. That perfume for women drives me madly insane :) I'm sure he would approve!

Thanks. First of all, I am outside the US. 1 US equals 6 dollars here...so basically no budget really...:( How much for an affordable iPod?

What is he "in" to - cars, pool, golf, a particular sports team, kayaking, medievil battle armor, non-dubbed anime, yoga, carpentry, extreme sports, hard core accounting, goth/vampires, Barney the dinosaur), Andy Griffith show re-run DVDs, personal hair care/salon set, fuzzy house slippers, custom labeled coffe, weed, porn...oh hit a nerve there, foreign language documentary films from the 50's, Elvis Presley, Elvis Costello, Abbot & Costello, silk ties, live African safari animals, ants...lots of ants, hang gliding, knife throwing, Bruce Lee, Bruce Cambell, Living Dead movies, Greatful Dead 8 tracks, Unibomber documentary, ticket stubs, compromizing photographs of him with Carol Bernette...now thats just nasty, a smooch from Shawn (not sure how you qualify for that apart from having buffelo burger breath), celebrity signatures from top DP posters such as Anthony C, Tops30, Mira, CrazyRob, leaded gas, lead mouth piece, a hand made kalidoscope, LSD, a ream of recycled paper, 300 empty Mountain Dew cans...man - theres just too many great options here, but it would help if we had more of an idea who we were buying for here ;)

A comfortable work chair. Being a man that works in an office and sits in an office chair 8hr days, (& 10hr nights - side work) I understand the old proverb - "A man spend half his life in either his shoes or his bed, so both should be as cofortable as he can afford" - in this case "his office chair should be squeezed in there somehow.

You'd be surprised how much difference simple ergonomics can make in the overall wellbeing of your hubby. The right chair can relieve the unnecesarry tension that poor office chair ergonomics cause, add a level of comfort and class to his work area and make him the talk of the cubical pool.

I'm certain there are a number of great sites out there offering reviews and pricing for such a gift, but here are a few I Googled for this post:

http://www.bizchair.com/27008-os.html - looks nice, all the basic features and a few extras, little hefty on the pricing

    The Aeron Chair
    http://www.officedesigns.com/
much pricier, an 'elite' model that your hubby's CEO would be impressed with

    Grey Executive chair
    http://www.officechairsforless.com/Store/Scripts/prodView~idproduct~123.htm
This one looks comfy too (and a bit cheaper)

If he does not have them, I suggest a set of computer tools. I bought myself a little set that comes in a zipper case - yes I am a nerd to the core. Wherever I go my computer, computer tools, CD case go with me. A zipper CD holder is good gift as well as would be a personalized mouse pad with family picture on it.

A new monitor or a gift certificate to a computer store would also be great...

If you go the cologne route, here is what I would get: Cool Waters
I first saw this a "Playboy" I would say one of the fall/summer issues... Cannot remember which. Nice outdoorsy fragrance.

Other things, iPod, tools? I guess you have to look at what he is in to. You could always surprise him by buying something sexy (clothing wise) and unwrap yourself... That one always worked for me.

    Good luck!

Yeah, I did the same for my wife. Bought it just before Thanksgiving and included free shipping, a card and free gift wrap and ribbon. It's been hard keeping my mouth shut.

We are going car shopping for her tomorrow... So if she can finally settle on a colour it looks like Pontiac G6 for Christmas as well.

That said, I'd buy your hubby a Vette! What guy wouldn't like that?

Whatever you but, dont forget to add a personal touch to it.

Gift wrap is fine but do add your personal touch to it. He would appreciate it much further. Beside do cook a nice meal and gift it to him in cosy back drop.

He will definately love the way you pamper him and you can watch the effect straight away.
