Google stop pagerank? Google: We Won't Be Updating Toolbar PageRank

Forget PR, do real work on website like write good article, do proper optimization to get traffic.
PR is lost & dead long ago. There are lots of other clean methods which work.

I'm kinda thinking the same way, too! Wherever angle I'll look at his reply, I still don't get what's his point.

 

I just hope that Google will introduce another metrics (better) in place of PageRank in future.

 

I still keeping hope on PageRank update.
Logically Google shall do it. Because at the time of last PageRank update, many sites/domains achieved High PR & Fake FR, which is against Google's policy. And this is my point too.

I can't believe it's 2016 and you're still talking about PR. It's like turning back the time.

 

Google stopped to update the PR Toolbar, but the Page Rank is still the core of Google ranking. We people should focus our audience, trying to provide great contents and interesting stuffs, it's more important than the PR toolbar.

Due to over spamming by many fellow bloggers and selling links for money made google to do this but yes pagerank is not dead at all. Google not publishing it publicaly but for deciding ranking in the SERP they are using pagerank.

 

Exactly! People get all crazy about min-maxing their autoblogging sites, and all that happens is the algorithm gets changed again. Short term thinking!

 

There is no any new algo like PR.
