If I may say, I agree with both your statements here, G+ is best for SEO but it is good for lead generation as well in very niches areas. Although depending on the budget I'd spend a very small amount on it, I read the latest stats suggest only around 7 million users have ever made 50+ posts on G+ which comparing to 1.4 billion of Facebook is well...
