    I don't think its a problem.
I have gone through this problem quite often, it happens when your mind keeps on thinking about one thing or other.
You should try meditation or try controlling ur thoughts flow.

Since this problem came from within, the answer lies within as well.

Tnx I hope u have the answer.

Try to see a doctor maybe they can refer you to sleep specialist where they hook the wires on you while you sleep to get more info. I know someone who went to do a sleep test and they had like a breathing issue or something.

I had a similar problem until I was introduced to this simple method that takes only a few seconds to perform. I no longer lie awake wondering how I'm going to cope on the following day with yet another almost sleepless night.

Although not essential, it would do no harm to move or turn away any digital LED appliances that are at your bedside. If you have a digital 'phone, take it off its charging dock and place it screen side down so that your bedroom is as dark as possible. It would be helpful, too, if you avoid consuming high sugar content food or alcohol late at night.

1 - Get into your most comfortable position in bed and close your eyes
2 - Take one deep breath, hold it for four seconds (mentally count 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and)
3 - Exhale swiftly and then hold that position for seven seconds (mentally count 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 5 and 6 and 7 and)
4 - Repeat this once more.

The next thing you'll know, it's morning.

This method has proved to be fail-safe during the past two months of me following this routine every night. I feel great when I wake up, I'm more productive, I look my old self and the dark, panda-eyed look has disappeared. I no longer worry about lying awake. It's like a sleep switch that kicks in immediately after the above routine.

You could have a serious but rare medical condition -- one that I have to cope with. There are many different names for it, but the most common is "Non-24-hour sleep–wake disorder"

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-24-hour_sleep–wake_disorder

My particular case is even rarer as I'm sighted, and my period is very close to the 26 hour mark. Basically I HAVE to maintain a 26 hour day or I get all the symptoms of sleep deprivation, even if I've "gotten enough sleep". Trying to maintain a 24 hour day can lead to irritability, insomnia, narcoleptic style microsleeps, and in extreme cases of prolonged off-schedule wake auditory and visual hallucinations can kick in. It basically guaranteed I was going to get diabetes (as if the programmer's diet didn't already make certain of that) and makes me ridiculously slow to heal from wounds. It also makes most "every 24 hour" medications harder to maintain proper dosage levels in the bloodstream -- including glucophages and time-release insulin. (Just starting a new one called "tresiba" that's working WAY better for me since it's a 8 to 48 hour window for dosing!)

I'm also a hypersensitive to daylight, making the light therapy treatment NOT an option... Incorrect diagnoses of the condition ended me up on anti-epileptic medications (worst of which was neurontin) for seizures that caused a medication induced Parkinsonism -- since, well, why not kick the poor sod when he's down? STILL fighting a non epileptic seizure disorder though for now Keppra seems to have that under control. Back in Feb 2015 this perfect storm of medical conditions came crashing together to land me in the ICU for a week.

Basically I just sleep an hour longer, and stay up an hour later, so my day shifts forwards an extra two hours a day... so every six days noon becomes midnight and vice-versa. Needless to say, I'll never be able to work a 9 to 5 job ever again... or really any job that requires me to work the same hours of the day every day of the week.

As evidenced by the fact that for me this is 11AM, even though local time is 5:30AM. Tomorrow this time will be sometime after 1PM for me.

The doctors think I've had it my whole life, I just spent the first 32 years or so of it undiagnosed -- explaining why I had always had "good weeks" and "bad weeks" -- even with the diagnosis some 14 years ago I still struggle with it, and all the other conditions that are a direct cause of it, or from misdiagnosis and mis-medications trying to treat the symptoms but not the cause.

The only TRUE treatment that works for me being maintaining a 26 hour long day.

"The twins keep us on Centaurian time, standard thirty-seven hour day. Give it a few months. You'll get used to it... or you'll have a psychotic episode." -- Zed

It mostly happens because of the mental health. You should prefer doing meditation with backround soothing music to calm yourself internally ,try to increase your physical activity and give some rest to your mind. Hope it will work for you.

No pill, no medication is needed if you get REIKI Therapy. After practicing Reiki you will reach to the final destination definitely and definitely.

    What did I just read...

Are you implying insomniacs struggle with sleeping because of guilt from the past? What a ridiculous thing to say if that's what you meant.

Hippy dippy nonsense -- likely from the same type of nutter who rants and raves about GMOs and vaccines, throws money away on "organic" foods, and buys into the holistic healing snake oil...

Same type of halfwits who try to treat whooping cough with maple syrup and then blaming the infant's death on the EMT's... simply proving that they were too stupid to be allowed to have a child.

You know, the same type of mouth-breathers that explain why in 2016 the dumbass idiocy known as "faith" is still even a thing... since too many people are either too stupid to know any better or have been duped through a lifetime of ritualistic indoctrination that makes them highly susceptible to confirmation bias and cognitive dissonance -- hence why hucksters of all sorts so easily prey on their ignorance and fear.

Had a similar problem in the past... Went to the mountain side for 3 weeks, did some sports, left my cellphone at home, got back with all batteries charged. My issue was stress related, if yours is the same, change your environment for a while.

I can advise you for sleep that you take a warm glass of milk & put some pure honey into it stir it and then drink always before sleep about 30 mints. I hope your sleep will get better.
