Social Signals for SEO

Is google Still considers Social Signals like Facebook Likes, Number of Tweets etc. for Ranking factors in SEO ?

 

Google hasn't revealed such information and will never do as what are the ranking factors they use and what is the algorithm they use. So it is never going to be easy for anyone to answer you this perfectly, at least I can't since I haven't read any report pertaining to the same. Being said that, few experience bloggers and SEO experts have mentioned that SEO signals do effect your website rankings. Recently, I have read another article suggesting not to chase Social media until you have 10k monthly visitors and rather focus on spending your time on something else. I think I read this on Sumome.com but you need to check on that. I would very much like to stick next to them and say yes, that is correct. Although, there is no harm posting links, having social media accounts and staying active on there.
I know owner of BloggingCage is driving good traffic from Facebook using Facebook Groups.
If you ask me personally, I think this does impact your SERPs and we should focus on it but not with the start of this whole SEO process since there are many more things to focus on in initial stages.

Of course, at present social signals is very important and effective to boost ranking. It is most important factor for ranking site. Google always give importance to site for social activities.

 

Google is always looking at, in a broad sense, every mention of your site and how your brand name and site participates on the web. So, social signals may not be huge as far as how powerful their signals are individually, but they do add some weight and when combined with other best practices it will push you far past your competition.

Wrong? Or don't like to accept the reality. How can you say that these social signals affects rankings?
Even Google do not consider social signals as a ranking factor.

 

Yes you have some use with Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest & Affimity. Create your account & add niche, fresh content with links that describe the post. For sure you will get traffic but also you get some authority too.

I believe social channels help you to get some SEO done for your brand.
