Bug Problem verifying a domain

Discussion in 'Better Analytics' started by jardel, Feb 9, 2016.

Hi, I am having a problem verifying one of my domains (is the first one on my digital point account settings), it is "unverified" for months already and after trying and retrying sometimes it work and sometimes it doesn't.

I would rather debug via private message / email since this domain is not publicly linked to me. Sorry to post here couldn't find a better way.

Right, but on the backend there are multiple methods you can use to verify your domain... For example a DNS entry, Google Webmaster Tools linking, file upload, etc.

It only relates to verifying your domain (I thought that's what your question was about)?

Google Tab Manager isn't one of the normal verification methods. If you are having an issue verifying your domain, I'd definitely stick to one of the normal verification methods/options the system gives you.

For a moment I thought I posted in the wrong forum. Apologies for the confusion.

I am talking about the better analytics plugin for wordpress. I purchased the pro version, adding one of my sites (out of three) to forums.digitalpoint.com/marketplace/domain-verification doesn't work.

Ya...I know what you are referring to. Just saying you can't verify a domain with Google Tag Manager. You would want to use one of the verification methods it gives you.
