    Hello-

Today, I received an email pretending to be from Google and saying Google would like to give me funds from its share (without asking for it)? Anyone else got this types of mails?

Most of the phishing emails I get go straight to the spam folder. Did your system not detect a problem?

I received this type of email oftenly. It is highly advisable to ignore these type of emails and delete them or block them. It may contain malware.

You may wish to file a report with the appropriate authorities and/or your regional fraud reporting center — such as the Internet Crime Complaint Center...

Does not matter coz there are many tools or simple PHP script by which i can send you email with name of suraj @ Google.com or bankorUSA @ USAbank.com.

Just report as spam for this type of email.

No, I haven't received such email. But as far as I know, such emails need to be reported. And you'll definitely want to stay away from them.

Lots of spammers are doing this.

I even received an email from a pretentious lawyer saying that he needed my help to transfer the funds from a repose client to my account. And he's starting to ask me about my account details. Once transfer is made, he'll come to my place and we'll divide the money appropriately.
