How you make indians buy?

Hi guys!

I'm having a test period in one of the websites which is selling web templates and themes. Everything going pretty good, but there is one annoying problem that i need to solve:

- we've got a big percentage of traffic from India, but part of buyers is 10 or even 20 times lower than from other countries
I understand that those guys are basically just browsing the website and looking for inspiration for their own themes and website designs, but i believe that there is a way too boost the part of people that might make a purchase.

I've already thought of pop-ups, pop-unders, asking for email and all that stuff...

So, maybe you can give me at least a small idea how i can sqeeze some more money out of them?)

May be you can add live chat with proactive invite triggers based on location. Talk to them directly and ask like "Hey, why are you here? Buy something or leave my server alone!"

Try selling your templates in Indian Rs. than dollars, maybe it can work.

 

You mean just show the amount in Rs?

 

I think the issue with Indian buyers may also be your payment mehtods. From what I've seen and heard, they have trouble with most online payments. Would be another story maybe if you could take local indian bank transfers.

lesser people doing website using paid templates in India. i hope most of your visitors are web designers .. they just searching for good designs and make own design like your paid templates(some time better than paid)
