    I've seen members join up and become established within a few short days. How often have I seen members get 3 or more likes with just one post?
    Give it a shot and see where it goes. It's largely all about contribution.

    Your avatar will reflect the change when you become established. Can't remember if you'll be notified with an alert, but I'm 90% sure you will be.

    Correct, which is part of the reason it's only 3. If you were insured that everyone liked everything you wrote, you would need more like 500 or so.
