    in photoshop I change the zoom resolution but that does not guarantee you that is an image of good quality is why you should always eelgir an image of good resolution to modify

    you can use software for it, there are several soft wares available in te market. But i think the resolution must change if you increase or decrease the size of an image.
    Photo Shop is the best way to increase the photo size. But it might be changed the resolution also.

    This thread was started back on 2011, so probably the OP has already found a workaround since awhile back.

    Even though, I'm adding a reply here because all of you think of Photoshop as the only solution to get this done when there is a faster, simpler way to do it using IrfanView, www.irfanview.com

    The only way I know how to make it is using Photoshop. I always need to decrease photoes for my site.
