    If I was selling my website, I would accept $500. But I am not selling it

    I wouldn't ask for a ridiculous $15,000 for it. I wouldn't buy this website for $15,000 and spend at least 8 months making my money back. I would prefer spending at least 1-4 months trying to make my money back.

    You only think from a buyer's perspective. The seller put hard work and time into their site, and you want them to sell it for nothing? Who in their right mind would sell their site for half of what they make in one month? That's absurd. $15,000 for a site that generates $2K per month is not ridiculous at all.

    Sites should sell at a minimum of 8 months profit. 12 to 18 months is reasonable. 18+ months for top sites.

    I agree that your website is worth more than $2000. However going off 5 months of revenue is tough to justify 15K.
