    Hope this is the correct section to post in.

    I paid for web design in the "Design" section on DP with seller "WebMasterDriver "and specified no word-press generic themes but was given a mock up of just that. I paid half the fee for a mock up and now have nothing.
    This member will not refund my money or provide the service as asked.
    Is there a complaints section or somewhere I can get help ?

    We don't get involved in disputes between members. The best thing to do would have been to use an escrow service for payment, but if you didn't do that, the next best thing to do would be to contact the provider you used for payment and see if they can help reverse the payment for you.

    I saw this thread now... I already refunded his (workathomeshop) money after 48 hours from this post but I don't know why he not removed this post yet... as we already DEAL...

    "reputed member" - medio 400 posts and 6 likes in 6 years. Yup, you're the bread and butter of this site, mate. And, bad reviews is good for the USERS - not for you, probably, but since you didn't deliver what you were supposed to, maybe it is good for other users to get varied feedback - I would NEVER hire someone with ONLY 5-star ratings - I would know that something was up. How you handle critique and bad reviews shows how good of a customer handler you are.

    Aint that the truth. Nobody expects all business dealings to go well but you show your true colours when you handle disputes.

    So far I've learnt that
    • you care about your reputation
    • you don't know how this forum works
    • you don't understand how public feedback works
    hopefully from here on in we see a professional response and not a bad temper.
