Where can I sell my website?

    WAIT!

Before you jump on the bandwagon and say the obvious - please listen to my specific question.

I build micro-niche websites, rank them on Google, make them profitable and then sell them.

For the past few years, I have sold to a private list of investors that I have accumulated along the way.

Lately, I have thought about branching out to different avenues.

Forget Flippa - they are crooks and the whole platform is designed for them to make money, period.

I would love to sell these sites on DP, but I don't think I will make enough money.

My sites only make between $200 - $500 each/month so I don't think they are ideal for sites like Empire Flippers.

Any other ideas? I would love to hear everyones suggestions - I love having multiple ways to reach the same solution.

Create your own flipping website and market it on sites to people who Google search terms like "buy money making website".

I suggest Empire Flippers if you really got quality microniche sites and earning stable around $500. Give it a shot!

For microniche I suggest not share on any webmaster forums because all your sites will be replicated, duplicated... :))

Yeah, I need to be careful of that.

I don't want those threads to be indexed by Google.

Private listings, put people pay 5% refundable to just see the site if is really good site they will pay.
Remember you wanna get your website viewed by interested buyers not by people who wanna replicate your site. Good luck mate!

Actually money first and transfer the site after. That's how business works!

I'm not interested in buying websites. Also you need to inspire trust, have a brand established when asking this, nobody is going to give you money just because you say so, but if you are well known I bet you won't try to get away with couple hundred bucks and hurt your brand, ruin your entire business.

I was proving a point that you have no idea what you're talking about.

Only an idiot is going to pay someone money just to SEE a website.

    What sense does that make?

    I am pretty sure.

    Your advice:
Then when I suggested you follow your own advice (because it was so foolish) you changed your advice by saying:
I am asking WHERE I should sell this website, if anyone has any ideas. You said "private listings". Is that a place?

So... let's say you have 100 sites. $200-$500 mo/each you can easily be making $20k-50k a month... Hmmm... Yet you want to sell them. The math doesn't add up. Before calling everyone "idiots" and "crooks" get your facts straight. It's idiotic to sell sites that you can make a gooooood living on. The only thing I can safely assume, your sites are MAYBE making $20-$50 a month? That's more like it. But even then, makes no sense selling them.

    WOW!

How in the world could I possibly manage 100 sites? That's unthinkable.

    I run 5 at a time. MAX.

The money these earn is my capital for new sites, while selling 1 - 2 a month pays my bills.

It costs about $500 to start a new site and I make around $3,000 per sale.

It takes me over a year to make this kind of money with it just sitting on my server - and I run the risk of losing my rankings, getting hacked etc.

Plus, how boring would that be?

Do you have a better method for me? I am all ears. However I am having a blast doing what I am currently doing.

Isn't that why we're all here? To do what we love doing?

LOL. You have no issues running 60 sites that make $5 per day with AdSense... Everything seems to be automated there:

    https://forums.digitalpoint.com/threads/which-ad-network-is-the-most-lenient.2745361/#post-19116659

Let's say that something you're saying somewhere is actually true. You can't automate 5 sites that make you $200-$500 a month?? It'd be preposterous for you to say that you can't and that you'd rather sell them. (Yet you have no issue handling 60 sites that make you pennies...).

Lol, that was a year ago and I posted that on behalf of a client. That was when I owned a website management company, which I have since sold to a UK company.

One of the last sites I started hit page 1 on Google in 8 days, now I am sitting at the number one spot and have been for several weeks. How could I be making this up?

Okay, sure I can automate them.

Is this automation going to last forever? What then? What do I do in the meantime?

What happens if my keyword research and SEO techniques don't work in the future?

The way I'm doing it now I'm always learning always changing things
    always testing
always finding out what works and what doesn't work
    always experimenting

Why does my business methods bother you so much? If what I'm saying is preposterous you should be happy knowing there's less competition for you.
