Wordpress - Blog redirecting

    Hi All,

I currently have a site using wordpress for a company. When we add a blog post the URL is set for the post name. This link then lasts for about 2-3 days and after that, when you try to click or go to the URL it re-directs back to the homepage domain for some reason. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix this?

    Thanks,
    M

Any chance for malicious code? Maybe theme is hacked?

You are running some wrong cron job at my view. Disable all crons and check if this happens.

+1 for checking the cron job issue.

You didn't by chance change the permalink structure did you?

We did change the permalink structure to "Post Name" within the settings in Wordpress. All of the page URL's work correctly, except for blog posts re-directing to the homepage now. The change started to happen after we installed Yoast SEO plugin.

Then you might wanna uninstall Yoast, and see if that fixes the issue?

I'm not sure if Yoast is the root problem though. We've just edited all our descriptions and meta keywords, so uninstalling could be a huge loss. Would anyone know of any other solution? Not sure what a cron job is. Is that something that can be edited? Thanks all, M.
