What are you verifying the domain for exactly so I can test it (there are different reasons for domain verification on this site)?

Have you tried it without the "http://"?
Try just using the domain i:e "skynethosting.net"...like it say's in the error message.

Thanks for the suggestion but there is no normal http version, if you type as http it redirects to https version. Any how I tried with http:// skynethosting.net/ but still got the same error.

Any way for an admin to manually check the code and verify the site if verification system don't support https?

That error has nothing to do with domain verification. As the error says, you need to enter the domain, not a URL. "http://" or "https://" is not part of a domain, it's part of a URL.

Again, it's looking for a domain, not a URL.

Thanks for the promote response :) , however this rather seemed like a issue with the verification code itself, re-uploaded the code and got it verified.

Again, maybe it would be wise to write the error-messages so they're understandable by "mere mortals" with no real understanding of what certain things are - like a domain? If that error-message had said something along the lines of: "use only the domain-name - no http :// or https ://, nor www. or any other subdomain. Just the bare-bones domain-name" it might be easier for novices to figure out what's wrong?
