Can I restore an old website of mine?

    Hello,

I had a website that I decided to stop uploading to a couple of years ago now and was just wondering if it's possible to re-purchase the domain name and simply add the same content back onto the website gradually?

Also, will doing so be fine in terms of SEO as search engines may assume im copying the content from somebody else?

    Thanks.

So you let the domain expire and it's available to register again?

It is fine to register the domain again and to repload the site.

Yes there is nothing wrong with this. The only thing you want to check is to make sure no one stole your content back when the site was online. You might want to run the articles through Copyscape just to make sure they're not online currently.

What about with a different domain name but along the similar lines?

Fine either way. The content is on the same domain name.

In that case, it depends if the content is still indexed.
