    I don't know about the other countries, but here in Macedonia we don't have a choice when we are talking about sport. :) We have football and basketball, but our national team does not show good results.

    After the martial arts, handball is the most popular and most played sport here in MKD. Every year we have 2 teams that reach up to quarter or semi-final in the League of Champions. Also every world or euro cup our national team reach in the top 8 or 4. We are good in man and women handball, and we have the best shooter in Europe - Kiril Lazarov!

    And what about baseball? Did anyone here is playing or was play baseball? I don't have that chance to play baseball in my country. I try it before with some friends from USA. The feeling was amazing, especially if you are pithcer. :)

    Basketball and Soccer are the most popular sports in my country (Serbia). We won a Silver Medal in the Basketball World Cup and got a Gold Medal in the Football World Cup for U21.

    In my country, the most popular sport is football (soccer) as, I guess, almost everywhere else. So you could say it's popular but not "specifically" popular :D

    Handball is definitely! I come from Macedonia and the only sport that our nation is good at is Handball. Also one of the best players and shooter is coming from our country. I am sure that people who watch this sport heard about Kiril Lazarov. :)

    I usually don't like to watch sports on TV except tennis, but when our national handball team is playing, then I must! hehe

    In reality I have never come across anyone playing volleyball.. But cricket is popular island wide and has brought more recognition to the country after winning the 96 world cup.

    Yeah we know the Indian cricketers very well but never heard about the hockey players. I know there are hockey fans who follow news about hockey but cricket is everywhere in both countries which puts the official sports to shame. It's time that both countries should do something about it ;-)
