[Colocation server] Centos installed, how to set IPs?

    Hi guys, i already installed centos, the server is for colocation

    now how to set IPs? please recommend me set ip tutorial link for centos

    i got these from my provider for example, is it 1.1.1.1 - 1.1.1.5 the one i can use?

    If you need to ask such a basic question, you really should read up on your network knowledge, at least if you're gonna provide colocation services on that server you set up.
    A netmask of 255.255.255.248 means you have 8 available addresses for your use - which you can also see from the list of the IPs you have.
    You are right that 1-5 are the ones you can use. Usually you should also be able to use the .0-address, although it's normally shunned due to antiquated equipment and / or pr. network settings. The broadcast transmits too all nodes in the network, and the gateway is your way OUT of the network.
