How I Use Google+

I have a blogspot blog which I post to daily. After I finish my post and publish it, I share it with my Google+ account.

I've received on some days over 40 visits to my blog as a result of this sharing.

When I'm on Google+ and see something I like, I pin it to Pinterest which also connects to my Facebook account.

I am new to Google+ but I noticed that you will more likely to be followed back on Google Plus than Facebook or Twitter. (Just an observation)

You need G+ to add to your overall Ranking of Google Greatness that they are looking at. Of course, now, it also includes You Tube subscribers and G-Mail addressees, too.

 

Excellent method. I try and share something on G+ everyday and always put my new blog posts on G+ too. I find that more people interact with G+ than any other social platform, it's very refreshing.

At the end of the day it's all about be consistent and persistent and with that comes great Google Authorship.

 

Google plus good for traffic, and i used too for my website

 

Yeah, Google + seems to be good for getting new visitors. It's nice that you can automatically publicize to your G+ pages from Blogger, Wordpress or other platforms.

 

That sounds like a great idea. But don't you think that you can get better traffic than that if you use more than just your google+ account and you pinterest account. Because there is also twitter and linked in. You probably have a lot of connections on linked In, maybe they would like to read what you post there. and plus twitter is so simple to use, everyone reads what you write on that. And if you post the link to your posts on twitter, people would look at it. Plus use bit.ly to make the URL of your post smaller. Otherwise long URLs look messy

 

I agree that it's always good to diversify your sharing platforms, but in the case of user interaction I just find that G+ users interact a great deal more than any other platform. This is from my accounts though so I guess it will vary dependent on everyone's account. This leads me on to the conclusion that it really is a matter of preference and what works for them.

 

I agree rahulmca first of all that create a good page and make a good friends of locals..

 

I created my own community pages related to free advertising and they are close to having a thousand followers each. They keep steadily growing, which is exciting. I personally believe G+ is much better for a small business compared to FB.

 

In my opinion, comparing FB and G+, Fb is better.

 

I also prefer G+

It's like the backend of Google's search engine. You can literally control how much publicity and traffic your website gets just by posting content from your site there.

 

Do you have to do anything else besides opening an account on Google+ and posting your content? I suppose you need to connect with people, join some relevant groups, interact. This takes time and effort, like any other social media. Likes, visits and shares won't come by themselves.
