1) Always protect those paying the $ and take down adverts if you are under threat

2) Don't behave in such a way online that you attract the haters that would do that.

3) install this if using wordpress: http://www.clickfraud-monitoring.com/

4) if using and adserver to serve adds that has the appropriate plugin, then set limits on the number of clicks per IP eg http://www.openxmods.com/openx-revive-adserver/anti-fraud-click-system-basic/prod_1322.html (this is what I do)
