    you mean "subdomain".domain.gov. And is it a blog,

    and i surely think that whoever will buy it and start posting will be get banned. .gov are not for personal blogs.

    If you're just writing and don't spammed that blog. Your account will be live forever. I will tech how to put backlink looks naturally. I already have 3 gov blog, and still don't have any problem with them all, because I use it at the right way.

    Unless the page is linked to from the primary domain, it won't pass any trust or page rank. Most of these types of pages are orphan pages and worthless.
