Hi, I'm looking to launch an eCommerce site for my new business, but I have limited experience in web design. My needs are as follows: -Ability to customize orders with checkboxes and a text field -Able to handle PayPal's Website Payments for checking out -Submission sends an email with order info to my company Any recommendations on where to start? I've already looked at using Wix, but I don't want to get too deep into it only to find out it can't meet my needs. Thanks!
I recently launched an e-commerce website with the help of Intersmart, a web design company. They fulfill all my requirements and I will provide you the link to contact them. They will definitely helps you to attain your needs. www.intersmart.ae
Everybody seems to be spamming their services and not answering your question. A great shopping cart platform I recommend for you to get started is WooCommerce coupled with Wordpress. It does everything your asking and is relatively easy to setup. But as a recommendation, its still quite the task to setup a storefront. If you want this executed properly, you may need to hire a professional.
WooCommerce is awesome site we're also using it at one of our sites. It has all the features one can want in an eCommerce platform. Plus it works in WordPress thus you can ad amazing plug ins to get help in your social media sharing, following and SEO etc. But yes you can make changes to your front through. Also I would recommend to to add sharing and following buttons using jQuery.
Also there's a set up of Presta Shop another amazing eCommerce theme. you can make changes according to your requirements but it doesn't need a lot of changes. It can be used as a whole online shop in itself. You wont be needing to work hard to set it up. Just add your products and promotional material like banners etc and get started. I've used this theme.
Here are few recommendations: Shopify Pros: Simple interface and lots of plug-ins. Cons: Limited design tools, transaction fees Sellbeing Pros: Unique design tools, user-friendly admin panel, mobile-friendly templates, no transaction fees Cons: A bit limited functionality BigCommerce Pros: Tons of features Cons: Complex and frustrating admin interface, limited design tools, not all templates are user friendly, transaction fees

According to your requirement, I will recommend you to use YoKart for your new business. You don't need to have any technical knowledge to use this e-commerce platform and it is very easy to use.

Dear Chachi, If your number of products are 20-50 then its better to go with Wordpress and install the Woocommerce plugin. It will work great for you. Else Magento continues to be number #1 platform for large e-commerce sites. Don't consider Magento if you have small scale business as every additional feature will cost you money. Let me know if you have more questions.
Wix doesn't have any advanced feature to build an ecommerce. If you really want to build your ecommerce site then Magento is my personal recommendation. But Magento is lot more critical than any other ecommerce platform. If Magento seems difficult, you can use opencart. It has lot more easy features as if you could easily build your website.
Dear Chacii Go to this link https://www.udemy.com/opencart-2-0-video-quickstart/ and login with your gmail id and create the ecommerce site according to your requirments. you can build an exact site like this https://www.buymobile.com.bd/
Dear Chacii, Good evening, very good two platform for eCommerce website, 1. opencart 2. Magento both are popular in the eCommerce industry, you can google it, if anything else you need so i can give you more solution on that
I would also recommend you to choose Magento, while it is the most flexible and feature rich, so you will not have problems when your business grows, but usually startup businesees do not use this platform due to problems with website hosting (not all servers are capable of Magento websites hosting) and website theme installation (conflicts might occur while installing). I can have a look at the solution called Browuse. It adapts Magento to the needs of small and mid-size businesses. If you are interested you can google Browuse and find it.
