my site is moving domains, how can I minimize the SEO damages ?

    hi

    I have a site with it's own domain as so "mysite.com"
    in about two weeks it will move to a sub domain of another domain I have as so: "mysite.oneofmydomains.com"
    "oneofmydomains.com" is not a new domain, its an 8 years old domain.
    I know it's looks crazy but I can't really change it.... the only thing I can do is move it to a folder under that same domain as such "oneofmydomains.com/mysite" but that's not better is it...

    how can I "tell" google about this change so that he understand it is the same site that just moved ? and thus minimize the SEO damages ?

    make .301 redirect from all old articles to new website articles and you will not lose anything!
    For wordpress You have plugin or you can use .htaccess redirect.
