Hi Digitalpoint, sorry to burst into a thread like this, but I'm trying to sell ad space in the advertising section and I'm having trouble verifying my site. Is there anyway it could be done manually as I can't access my Wordpress editor. Thanks!

Well for some reason I can't access my Editor in Wordpress. I'm very new to Wordpress so I don't know how to upload the HTML file either to the particular address. Is there anyway I could simply create a page and write a message to you so that you know I own the page.

No sorry... The only way to verify a site would be with the normal verification methods. If you want to do the file upload method, but are unable to upload files, you will need to contact your web hosting company so they can assist (they really would be the only ones that could help there since it's their servers).

As long as the URL matches the one it's looking for, it would work. The verification system isn't going to look for a URL that's close... it has to match exactly.
