Hi guys, I really like all of these websites, the pottery corner one is very nice,

I am having some trouble though, All I want is a simple website, with "myname".com in with with a black background, a menu with a home button, a gallery button, a portfolio button and a contact me button,

Wordpress looks like a blog and I really can't figure out how to change it, so I have installed Joomla on my go daddy page so I am hoping for some simplicity when it comes to this. .... Any help is really appreciated

We are using Joomla (1.5) for most of our content managed websites. Also, our own website is powered by Joomla (www dot cambridgesoftware dot co.uk/). You can check our portfolio (www dot cambridgesoftware dot co.uk/portfolio) which includes others.

We design and build a lot of Joomla website, I am not a very big fan though because of troubles with extensions.
If a good website is built on Joomla it should not use many plugins to make it reliant on it.
Here is our own website: Alexanders.co.nz which soon we are changing the whole feel of it.
there are some other websites we did in Joomla, check out the portfolio and if you are all good at searching you can find a Joomla manual
I created for non-developers to understand Joomla better.
