    concerning domain due diligence, where is best to check for a website history I.e

    How many times has it been dropped,
    Any penalties,
    links to spam,

    General due-diligence similar to a car HPI check, thanks for any information provided my mind is a blank as a white sheet of A4 paper

    There are multiple tools you should really use to perform due diligence..When it comes to looking at domain history, how many times it's dropped..etc. I think DomainTools is the best. When it comes to looking at backlinks Ahrefs and MajesticSEO are probably the two best options.
