    Hi Stanley,

In my experience, it is important to design a website that provides awesome user experience. What if people who visit your site don't understand what you're saying? They may probably close the page and go to the next website. You don't want that as you need to drive more targeted audiences towards your brand.

Remember, you only have a few seconds to impress a site visitor so make sure that they can have a great experience with your site. The design and color combination should look nice, fonts should be pleasing to eyes, content should be easy to understand, etc. In addition to that make sure that you exactly tell your audience what to do, so make sure that it's easy to navigate. Also, load time is an important factor. Make sure that your site loads fast.

In short, don't make anything confusing to your site visitors.

    Hope it helps! :)

    Stanley,

Pretty10 hit the nail on the head with the emphasis on user experience. In my experience the key is to be clear what you want the user to do when they visit your site, and then make it as easy as possible for them to do it. The most important information should be easy to find, easy to read, and easy to understand. Far too many websites load up on information and the user spends too much time trying to find what they came for, or even worse, they just give up and leave. When you make things easy to find, and next steps clear and obvious, the user experience becomes very predictable.

Testing is critical to understanding what your customers do on your site, and identifying what is working and what is not. Of particular importance, is identifying where and when non-converting customers are leaving your site. Often there is a pattern to this and identifying it can save you a lot of potential lost business.

It's worth noting that the slickest looking websites are not always the most effective. User friendly almost always outperforms great looking. Ideally, you can have both.

Creativity is the fundamental principle. But not restricted to it. Hard work, learning of art and exploring various design portfolios and trying out something on your own will make you unique. Hard work with dedication is must. Good luck.
