    You should check all the blogs in your niche and check their Domain Authority for example here ahrefs.com

    You can lookup some footprints and start searching Google manually using those footprints. For example..you could search:
    "Powered by Wordpress" +YourNiche

    It'll take some time to analyze all the sites before commenting though!

    DoFollow CommentLuv blogs are a good idea. Probably each webmaster has his own personal preference list, I published one as well in my blog and it's becoming a famous list.

    Take your competitor, who uses posting comments as link building strategy, and check where he does it (via Ahrefs). Then check another one and so on.

    You can easily search blog posts related to your keywords with Scrapebox/ GScraper tool.
    Makesure to filter out the high pr and low obl links to manually comment on. Also post relevant and useful comments over there.
    Because most of the time these high reputable blogs has comment moderation on, so it'll not pass the mod check if it would be of low quality.

    Some things are best done manually.

    Just search the top 100 blogs in your niche and check to see if the links posted are DO FOLLOW.

    You can use inspect element or the "No Follow Enabled" chrome extension to make this faster.

    I am sure a VA would love to do this for a cheap price.

    When your list of DO FOLLOW blogs has been created for the specific niche, I am sure others would love to pay a few bucks for it as well.

    Two birds with one stone :)
