    WINNING DESIGN

    Hey guys,

    Apologies for the delay in selecting a winning design. After careful consideration and discussions with my partner, we have decided on the design attached. It was a really close "fight", because of the huge number of awesome designs that we have received for this contest.

    Full disclosure: it's from an external source, not from Digital Point Forums.

    It is simple, smooth and elegant. Exactly what we wanted and similar to the logo examples that we provided.

    I want to thank and congratulate each and every one of you for all the entries and for making this contest awesome!

    That "design" is not original. There's nothing "smooth" or "elegant" about it, but like they say "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" :-D

    In the future, it's considerate to mention that you're holding contests elsewhere. I for one wouldn't have participated, had I known this in advance.

    Please take designers more seriously as both artists and professionals who deserve respect.

    I am not sure if this is a scamming method or just an example of how you can waste two hundred dollars on a below-average unoriginal design.
