How do I increase the MOZ domain authority of my blog ,
Anyone got any specific advice?

Domain authority entirely depends upon the quality of backlinks pointing to your site.
However quantity also matters. More the linking root domains, more the domain authority.

High quality outbound links in a site also increases domain authority. Always be careful while linking out to other sites.

Backlinks should be as natural as possible. Build backlinks within your niche.
Guest blogging and commenting are the safest ways to build backlinks.

Patience matters a lot. Your site should also be old enough to gain authority. Older domains gets quicker domain authority.

MozTrust can be improved by getting links from other sites with high MozTrust such as goverment institutions and universities , also more pages with relevant content will strengthen your site .

 

Where can I get high quality goverment institutions and universities backlinks.

 

if you're going for DA naturally you'd want the links pointing to your domain (site.com), but i'm fairly certain that links pointing to your pages site.com/page/ will help as well .

Increasing DA is a bit indefinite, but if you improve your overall SEO then DA/PA will follow as well.
I'm sure you are pretty aware of OnPage and OffPage optimization.

 

Get rid of bad links, gain good links, ensure that your technical SEO is in place, create lots of linkable content, develop strong internal linking, regularly remove toxic backlinks. One of the factors that doesn’t get a lot of notice in discussions of higher DA is the domain age factor, which basically means, the older the domain, the higher its authority. You can’t simply “improve your DA” by jiggering this and tweaking that. Instead, you must look at the bigger picture and know that everything is about the content. So have patience.

 

You should get links from other websites (with a good pagerank) and many links/shares from different people on social media.

 

Sorry, but I can't really agree with you... With blog commenting you can really hurt your website... Unless you use MANUALLY approved blogs (for comments).. Also, be sure to write your comments manually! For guest blogging, be sure it's RELEVANT to the niche, the article to be UNIQUE and of course it's on a domain with at least an average Authority!

 

Hmmm I see. I like this discussion. but i never see one thing there should be some one who provide complete guid that how to create back links. like a sample and something like that.

Also publish articles on Article Directories and 2-nd tier backlinks. they still helps with ranking and increasing DA of the sites somewhat. Avoid Link Directories except Yahoo Directory.

 

I think building a good DA takes time, therefore you must be prepared to work hard, doing all the right things in Google's eyes before it can happen.

Write great content that people want to link to, contribute to high quality sites that have great authority and be consistent in your efforts. as your site ages, DA will increase.

 

build 2.0 properties (not aggressively), load it with content and schedule to post once a week, once a month... whatever, just to keep it constant.
Link once every 5th article to your money site (don't let that be only outbound link on site...). Open social media accounts for that 2.0 properties and comment (to get more strength and links).

Keep everything original and make it run like a swiss watch... that's good for start, but don't expect to add too much value to your da/pa.
After you do this for one or two months, you will discover that link diversity is something you should aim for. And PBN!

What's in a hurry for the increase of DA?
It would be better if you focus first on how your site perform well in the web. Targeted audience will be your first priority.

These kind of institutions are very strict because of their reputation so don't consider these as a source for backlinking.

Forget about it because those reputable institutions will not allow your site to link to them. Focus on related websites.

 

One good way to get a link from Gov sites is to Donate to them. That might help you by sponsoring their Cause or meetings or at least some events.
