Contest $60 Logo Contest For Drone Enthusiast Website

    This competition is to design a logo for my old website, RC Flying, which is about flying RC Planes, RC Helicopters and general remote control aircraft.

    The current website is here: RC Flying

    It is going to be renamed Drone Minds with the url 'droneminds.com'.

    I would like the logo to incorporate the name 'Drone Minds' and/or possibly 'droneminds.com' and some kind of non-military drone motif. You can use the clouds and colors from the current website header and logo, or ignore them/make a totally new badge type logo that could be stamped over the top and on any background.

    The competition starts now and will end on Friday 10th July at 8PM GMT +1 (i.e. British Summer Time) - just in time for the winner to collect their $60 (via Paypal) for the weekend. :)

    I will interact with posters as we go to give feedback.

    @Robert Cox, I see where you're going but I don't really like the literal brain/mind idea.
    @johnrossgd, I like yours the best so far, but not sure about colors, or stars or speech bubble sticky-out bit.

    Maybe something a bit lighter and slicker would be better, a bit more abstract?

    @butterfly_91, definitely slicker and brighter than previous ones, which is good, but I think it's too heavy-looking. I want something more modern, if that makes sense, maybe not?

    Just to add, for further inspiration you could look at Boeing or Lockheed Martin with just a dash more flare.

    - Vector Format
    - Can be made in any color
    - Entire drone design its made with on circle size shape - so the logo its more balanced and have better form, its simple in shape but have complex thinking behind, it have the look of a drone
