Warning received question

Hi DP moderators. Today I received a warning about having duplicate threads in the buy/trade/sell forum. Although they were similar, the new one was compared to a thread from well over 6 months ago. Both threads were deleted as a result. My question is, since neither thread exists now, can I re-post ONE?

    Thanks,
    John

Thanks for the reply. I thought of that, but the info is outdated. Can I delet all of my SEO threads, then post one?

You would just want to edit the one you have.

I can't edit the outdated info. The title has 12 years experience in it, and now it's 15+, so can I delete all the old threads than just post ONE new one? Thanks

If you edit/bump the thread, you can edit the title under "Thread Tools" for 6 hours after you start the edit window.

The last SEO thread was from august 14th, so it cannot be edited, only bumped

Bumping allows you to edit after the initial edit window.

Sorry to be a pain. So when I click bump/relist/edit link, a window shows with the option to click "bump thread" or "cancel". So if I click bump thread, I will then be able to edit the title, etc.?

When I return to the thread I bumped, I can edit the body, but not the outdated title

Not that I know anything, but did you look under "Thread Tools" as was pointed out? Usually it's there.
